Realizing the need for a more interactive approach to successful networking, she launched the “workshop company branch” of her business in March of 2007.
Prior to that, Karen began her career in the Title Insurance industry and quickly became and expert in foreclosures. During her 25 year tenure that field, much of her time was spent teaching educational workshops for employees and realtors. She also served 5 years as Education Chair of the Bay Area Chapter of the California Trustees Association (an educational association for foreclosure processors).
She has been a member of BNI (Business Networking International – an international networking organization) since 2003. Most recently she has become involved with the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, presenting her “How to Network” workshop as a value added service for new members and ambassadors. She enjoys spending her “spare time” creating new and exiting workshops and programs for her participants
Karen lives in Pleasant Hill with her husband Marshall and her 12 year old son Stephen who plays goalie for the San Jose Jr. Sharks, 12 and under, Tier 2 division.
Her passion is for helping people to communicate simply and effectively. Her burning desire is to change the way the world does networking
